Jason
Ellis is a 2004 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College-Los
Angeles, with undergraduate work at the University of Oklahoma.
While attending Cleveland-L.A., Jason was active in the ACA, CCA,
Gonstead Chiropractic, YMCA Boys and Girls Club, and performing
athletic physicals for high school athletes.
Jason
was originally turned on to chiropractic through his college baseball
team's chiropractor. "It was amazing to me to see the progress
made on extremity injuries through conservative care."
A
year later, Jason was involved in a serious wakeboarding accident.
"This accident left me incapable of continuing normal everyday
activities. A friend of mine introduced me to a chiropractor who
then explained to me the importance of a healthy spine and correcting
subluxations. I was amazed at my own recovery time after my spinal
subluxations were corrected and stabilized."
Jason
practices Diversified technique with motion palpation, ART (active
release technique), with a focus on muscular balancing and core
strength. He addresses almost every joint in the body. "I understand
the importance of chiropractic care on the extremities, i.e. TMJ,
shoulders, knees, elbows, wrists, and ankles."
Jason
enjoys almost any type of athletic outdoor activity, "surfing,
stretching, and weight training-in that order
and there's always
a little time to skateboard." If Jason is not in the office,
you'll probably find him somewhere in the South County catching
some waves.
